Hebrew Language Education Lit Review: Learning Hebrew as a Second or Foreign Language: Issues of Directionality, Orthography, and Metalinguistic Awareness

This literature review is the third and final in a series commissioned by CASJE. These reviews explore the implications and applications to the teaching and learning of Hebrew of recent research in heritage, second, and foreign language learning.

Chad Walker, the author of this third review, is a Doctoral candidate in East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern California. Scott Goldberg, Associate Professor at Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate School of Education, also contributed to this review.
